It came in a very secure box and was shrink-wrapped as well. The roller is very well-made. I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for." Recently, I've switched to cruelty-free beauty products. I discovered this roller through Jessica Alba promoting it. If celebrities trust it, so can I. At 50, I don't have wrinkles yet, and I want to keep it that way. The rolling motion on my cheeks is addictive. It also feels good under the chin. I can easily roll the back of my neck and shoulders too. There's no squeaking. It's a wonderful self-care tool. I bought this for myself for Mother's Day, and I love it. It's easy to use, and I can feel it working on my drainage. My skin does look healthier, and my husband said it felt softer. His exact words were, "It feels like your cheeks are like new, soft playdough, not the day-old, been-left-out kind." Haha! I don't like going to get facials because I don't like people touching my face, so this is a great in-between for me. I get results, nobody touches my face, and I only had to pay for it once. The price tag is high, and maybe there's something else out there that does the same thing for less, I dunno, but I do love what I have.
